It was our pleasure to be part of this beautiful commitment ceremony of Sarah & Lindsey. They tied the knot in the midst of family and loved ones at Georgetown Ballroom last November and was flawlessly coordinated by Katy with Vows Wedding & Event Planning, who happens to be Sarah’s sister 🙂
There is no better or more exiting time to blog about this lovely ceremony than right now – when the governor of Washington just signed gay marriage into law! Exciting times indeed!
It was so much fun working with two beautiful brides and designing two slightly different bridal bouquets – in glowing fall colors and shades of orange, gold, and red with touches of chocolate. So rich and warm!
Aren’t these just the most gorgeous shots of Sarah and Lindsey!!
We used roses, calla lilies, dahlias, orchids, and fern curls for the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages …
… and the combination of colors created such a yummy palette – perfect for a fall wedding!
For the ceremony we designed tow tall trees blooming with orange and red orchids, adorned with hanging votive candles and beautifully illuminated by vase up-lights (provided by Greenlight Event Design)
The reception ballroom was glowing with wall up-lights, a custom gobo light, and countless candles, lanterns, and hanging votive candles – it created such a romantic atmosphere! The table decoration included tall blooming trees, lanterns, and thick clusters of flower heads and rose petals in reds and oranges.
It was the perfect setting for a warm fall wedding!
