When I heard that Elizabeth and Alec’s wedding would be taking place at the gorgeous Glasshouse at the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum I knew that everybody involved – and especially the guests – would be in for a treat. Chihuly’s centerpiece in the famous Glasshouse where the couple’s wedding ceremony and reception took place will take your breath away.
To design an event around the stunning colorful artwork can go a few different directions, and the couple opted for a very clean and modern look in all white and lucite to not take away from the beautiful glass design in the ceiling. I absolutely loved their vision and bringing it to life for their wedding day last July was certainly a treat for us! We paired white satin linens with white floral featuring lots of calla lilies (Elizabeth’s favorite) and chose clear ghost chairs (from Pedersen’s Event Rentals), lucite stands, and clean shaped glass vases to create the modern look they wanted to achieve. Just stunning!
