Jamie and Steve’s October wedding at Chihuly Gardens and Glass was an autumn floral paradise: gold and burgundy dahlias, rich brown amaranths, chocolate smokebush and ninebark, crab apples, bittersweet, asters, multi-hued antique hydrangea, woodland ferns, and too many varieties of fall leaves to count!
The clean lines of the Glass House were echoed in the ceremony with the use of a sleek lucite chuppah and lucite ghost chairs. Against this modern backdrop, the riotous color of the florals complimented the fabulous oranges and yellows of the Chihuly glass ceiling installation and the golden sunburst out in the gardens. Everything was light and sunshine and airy spaciousness. And as the sun went down, black linens and lots of candlelight at dinner helped transition the space into a romantic, elegant, and cozy party space perfect for dancing the night away. Big kudos to the always fabulous Rebecca of New Creations Weddings for the coordination and design of this truly beautiful event!
