A Navy Blue and Burnt Orange Wedding

A Navy Blue and Burnt Orange Wedding: Amber and Chris

Amber and Chris’ September wedding at Chihuly Garden and Glass was a colorful, festive affair for this super-sweet couple. Coordinated by the talented Rebecca at New Creations Weddings, this wedding played with color, transitioning from a softer pastel peach and butter yellow palette during the daytime ceremony to the deeper, more dramatic navy blue and burnt orange palette for the reception.

A Peach and Butter Yellow Ceremony surrounded by flowers

Amber and Chris’ ceremony took place in the Glass House under Chihuly’s large orange and yellow glass ceiling installation. A floral arc studded with dahlias, roses, stock, and eucalyptus surrounded the officiant and couple. Amber’s bouquet featured huge frilly lisianthus, apricot garden roses, butter yellow stock, and the sweetest peach dahlias. The bridesmaids’ bouquets featured a slightly brighter color palette of peach, apricot, and orange.

An evening wedding reception in navy blue and burnt orange

As the evening wore on, deeper shades of navy blue and burnt orange were featured in the reception. Stunning navy blue velvet couches and table linens added richness. Copper charger plates were topped by navy blue napkins and a burnt orange dahlia for each guest. Tall floral arrangements perched on top of crystal vases, loaded with burgundy smokebush, orange and burgundy dahlias, peach stock, and orange and coral roses. Copper, rose gold, and dark gold votive candles added their glow as well.
